Audrey Hepburn began modelling in London in the 1940's and that led to her movie career. She had a few small roles in films in London, but did not find any real success until she travelled to America in 1953. The move turned out to be very succesful, as Audrey garnered an Oscar for her first American film, Roman Holiday (1953).
