Germans peel off for lensman Tunick

BERLIN (AFP) - US photographer Spencer Tunick, famous for snapping his subjects in their birthday suits, struck again in Duesseldof in western Germany, where more than 800 people bared all for his art.

近日，因拍摄人体照而闻名的美国著名裸体艺术摄影家斯宾塞·图尼克来到德国西部城市杜塞尔多夫。在这里，800多名裸体志愿者愿为他的艺术而“献身”。

图尼克因拍摄大量裸体人群的艺术造型而声名显赫，他通常选择城市中的场所作为拍摄背景。图为在杜塞尔多夫的Ehrenhof博物馆楼前，840名裸体志愿者在为图尼克充当模特。

For five hours 840 people, some of whom had come from as far away as Brazil, posed nude in a variety of attitudes: in a pyramid, arms in the air, bending down or crowding round a tree.

这840名裸体模特中，有的不远从遥远的巴西赶来。在5个小时的拍摄过程中，裸体者摆出各种各样的姿势，如叠罗汉、向上举手、弯腰或者拥围着大树等动作。

而50个长相最标志的模特还特意站在雕塑前接受特别拍摄。

"For me, bodies mean freedom and beauty," said Tunick who has conducted similar exercises in places that include Barcelona in Spain, Bruges in Belgium, Lyon in France and Mexico.

在到达德国之前，图尼克已到西班牙的巴塞罗纳、比利时的布鲁日、法国的里昂和墨西哥等地进行了类似的裸体艺术拍摄活动。他表示：“对我而言，人体意味着自由和美丽。”

Participation is voluntary and undertaken, it is said, for the love of art.

据悉，这些前来充当裸体模特的人都是自愿的，他们这样做是为了表示对艺术的热爱。

"I didn't much like the ants on my bottom," said Iris, 46, after a session on grass.
