is it an dangerous as they say?
no, New York isn't dangerous, no more than any other big city,especially if you are careful and don't advertise the fact that you're a tourist.
and is it true what they say about New Yorkers,that they're rude, and that they only care about themselves?
well, i found the poeple were very friendly. hoever, they do have a reputation for not caring about other poeple.i think the reason for this is that life in New York is increadibly stressful. poeple just don't have time to think about anybody else.it isn't that they don't care.
is there anything else you noticed about New Yorkers?
two things i had heard about before i went to New York did seem to be true,though.first id that they are always talking about money and how much things cost.secondly, it's that poeple eat all the time as they go about their daily lives,you know they"graze on the hoof" as they walk about the streets.
